We live in a fast-paced, ever-moving world where everyone seems to be rushing in every direction.

And yet, in scripture, God desires to teach us that walking with him is our greatest and most important adventure.

We've come now in our study of the great journeys of the Bible to Jonah's journey.

Jonah chapter 1 verse 1, the Bible says,

Now the word of the Lord came unto Jonah, the son of Amatai saying,

arise, go to Nineveh that great city and cry against it, for their wickedness is come up

So Jonah rose up and did exactly what God told him to do.

but Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshis from the presence of the Lord
