| 0:00.0 | So today I'm going to be sharing with you the one thing, the single most effective strategy that I have found to desexualize your brain. |
| 0:18.1 | And recently, about six months ago, I put together a video called how I desexualized my |
| 0:22.3 | brain. And I shared a few things that I found to be very helpful. And that video has had over a million |
| 0:27.2 | views and, you know, it's had tens of thousands of downloads on the podcast. But I wanted to go |
| 0:32.0 | deeper into one specific topic that I don't think that I really covered in depth there. And this is |
| 0:36.5 | probably the most important piece that helped me to desexualize my brain. And before I get into that, I just want to say, it's so funny because I read the comments in that first video. And there were so many guys that were like, this is more purity culture and like, why would you want to desexualize our brain? like we're, you know, we're sexual beings. And I'm not negating that at all. Like, I'm, I'll be the first to advocate for great sex. I'm the first to advocate for having fun sexually. Like, that's, that's not what I'm saying at all. What I'm saying is, for me, my brain had become, and my life had become so inundated with sexual content. |
| 1:13.1 | And my brain in my mind had become so sexualized that it was hard to focus. |
| 1:18.0 | It was hard to get work done. |
| 1:19.9 | It was challenging to just be motivated because on a regular basis, my mind was just |
| 1:25.1 | inundated with sexual thoughts and sexual content. And it was more |
| 1:29.2 | interested because it had been conditioned that way, like a Pavlonian dog, to go and seek out |
| 1:35.4 | thirst traps, women that I didn't really want relationships with, but they were giving me sexual |
| 1:40.9 | attention, porn, right? To go seek out all of this sexual content |
| 1:45.5 | and not put energy and brain power towards the things that really mattered most to me. |
| 1:51.7 | And so my relationship suffered, my finances suffered, my health suffered, my mental well-being |
| 1:57.1 | suffered, my sense of self-perception really suffered because I felt like I lacked impulse |
| 2:02.7 | control. I felt like I lacked any type of inner sense of authority of being able to say no to |
| 2:08.6 | myself. And that was incredibly damaging to my confidence and many other avenues of my life. |
| 2:14.6 | And so today I'm going to share the one thing that you can do that I've found |
| 2:19.4 | to be the most effective thing. And I call it the digital brain cleanse, the digital brain cleanse. |
| 2:26.7 | Now, this has three parts to it. Okay. So there's three Cs. Super easy to remember. You need to cleanse your |
| 2:33.2 | content. You need to cleanse your content, you need to cleanse your |
