Here's your morning TNB Tech Minute for Tuesday, August 5th. I'm Ariana Aspuru for the Wall Street Journal.

11 Labs has launched a new service called 11 Music. It's an AI tool where individuals and

businesses can generate music from text prompts. The company is best known for its voice generation

software, and now it's entering a market where copyright concerns

are already present. Eleven Labs has deals with Merlin Network and Cobalt Music Group to train its

AI model, aiming to provide legal cover for commercial use. The company said both Merlin and

Cobalt are still finalizing which artist's music will be involved.

Elsewhere, German chipmaker Infinion Technologies has raised its margin forecast for the fiscal year,

due to rising demand for semiconductors that power vehicles, energy infrastructure, and AI data centers.

The announcement comes just three months after Infinion cut its sales and margin guidance over tariffs. The company's third quarter sales were flat at $3.7 billion or about

$4.3 billion. And finally, Taiwanese prosecutors have arrested and detained three people

for allegedly stealing trade secrets.

It comes after Taiwan Semiconductor reported suspicions that current and former employees illegally obtained trade secrets.

TSM said it's taken disciplinary action against employees involved in the potential leak of sensitive information related to its core technologies,

though it didn't specify the exact tech involved.
