Here's your T&B Tech Minute for Tuesday, February 6th.

I'm Alex Oscela for the Wall Street Journal.

E-signe says it's cutting about 6% of its workforce or 400 jobs as it looks to bring costs down and reverse its struggling stock price.

It's the latest of a number of tech companies to announce layoffs as Silicon Valley keeps a grip on costs while pouring more cash into artificial intelligence.

We exclusively report that Fox, ESPAN, and Warner Brothers Discovery are teaming up to create a super-sized

sports streaming service that will offer content from all major leagues.

The yet unnamed service will be available to consumers as a standalone app and will be

offered to existing subscribers to ESPN plus,

Hulu and Max as part of a bundle.

The service is expected to launch in the fall

and the companies didn't announce pricing. Fox and the journal's parent News Corp

share common ownership. And Toyota forecast a record 30.3

billion dollars in net profit for the fiscal year ending in March.

It was in part thanks to higher sales of hybrid vehicles in all of its major markets.

Hybrid sales grew last year at a faster clip than sales for pure electric vehicles in the US and some other markets.

The results sent Toyota shares up 4.8% in Tokyo to close at a record high.
