Street Journal. The company that once made Tech Bros.'s favorite shoes is joining the tech industry.

Allbirds announced today that it's changing

its name to New Bird AI, as it looks to capitalize on the AI frenzy by buying and renting out

high-end servers equipped with AI chips. The move comes just weeks after Allbirds struck a deal to

sell most of his assets for $39 million. It was once valued at $4 billion. The company announced

that it was raising $50 million for its AI pivot, sending its stock soaring. Still, even with Wednesday's

gain of about 600%, shares are down more than 90% from its 2021 IPO.

ASML holding raised its sales guidance for the year as chipmakers scramble to secure its semiconductor making machines to turn out increasingly advanced AI chips. The Dutch group counts

TSMC, Samsung electronics, and Intel among its largest clients, and has been a key beneficiary of the

AI boom. ASML CEO noted that chip demand is outstripping supply, leading customers to

accelerate capacity expansion. ASML now anticipates sales between about $42.5 to $47.2 billion

for the year. Its stock has more than doubled over the last year.

Finally, Amazon is launching Amazon Bio Discovery, a new app to help research organizations scale

Lab in the Loop drug discovery. Lab in the Loop uses AI-powered predictions that improve with

experimental lab feedback. While the process has transformed research for some organizations, others have struggled to scale it.
