We are exclusively reporting that Artificial Intelligence Search StartUp Proplexity is finalizing a new funding deal at

around a $1 billion valuation. That's according to people familiar with the matter.

That's roughly double its valuation since its most recent financing a few months ago.

The one-year-old AI startup is aiming to challenge Google's dominance in web search.

It uses advanced AI models to provide direct answers to search queries rather than a list of website links.

In another exclusive, we are reporting that Salesforce CEO Mark Benioff is donating 150 million dollars to Hawaii's

health care system. His largest single philanthropic gift comes amid rising

tensions between local residents and the wealthy tech executives flocking to the

aloha State.

The funds are for improving a hospital in Oahu, where many of the victims of last year's

massive wildfires and Maui were treated, as well as one on the Big Island of

Hawaii where the billionaire lives part-time.

And in Germany, Tesla has halted production at its plant outside Berlin after what police said was a suspected

arson attack on the power grid by opponents of the factory's planned expansion.

Police said they believe attackers set a high voltage pylon ablaze overnight about 3 to 6 miles from the plant.
