0:23.0	One of the fastest growing fields of study is looking at the role of the placebo effect in human health.
0:30.0	Conventionally speaking, a placebo is when someone has a therapeutic effect from a fake drug, a fake surgery, or another treatment.
0:39.0	Now, it's regarded that placebo, so again again fake drugs, fake surgeries, fake treatments are actually
0:47.5	resulting in therapeutic effects in about 33% of all study participants.
0:54.4	All right, so with certain clinical trials

1:34.2	revealed that placebo-related improvements occur in most Parkinson's
1:39.9	Disease clinical trials. All right, again, Parkinson's disease is one of those conditions that often is considered
1:47.2	to be very, very difficult to treat.
1:49.6	But a meta-analysis of multiple studies are seeing
1:52.6	placebo's are leading to therapeutic benefits
