No term has been more synonymous with weight loss and nutrition.

Then this mischievous metabolic landlord.

At this point, hundreds of millions of people have tried to use calorie management to inspire weight loss.

And according to a meta-analysis, a massive meta-analysis conducted by researchers at UCLA,

only a small percentage, a tiny fraction of those folks using a conventional,

calorie-restricted diet or able to actually lose weight and keep it off.

In fact, the researcher said that, quote,

several studies indicate that dieting is actually a consistent predictor of future weight gain.

One study found that both men and women who participated in a formal calorie-restricted weight loss program

gained significantly more weight over a two-year study period than those who had not participated in a weight loss program at all.

Dieting, following a conventional calorie-restricted diet,
