Summary

Today I'm doing my own new version of a Monday episode -- it's like vlogging on Youtube, but it's a raw audio podcast from me to you giving you an update on all the things I'm working on in life and business. So you get a behind the scenes peek at my life and the creation of what we are designing for you in Alively World. Today, I'm sharing what has been happening in my life lately, along with a big fat story I was telling myself about podcasting that was limiting the amount of content ...

Welcome to The Lively Show, where there's no more mountains to climb, only sky to stretch into.

Hello, my friends, and welcome to a new type of episode I have for you. This is something that's

0:20.7

kind of similar, or my version of

0:23.3

vlogging only in podcasting. Should we call it plogging? I don't know that that's a great word for it,

0:29.5

but I love watching vlogs on YouTube. Lydia Millen's my favorite one, but I have many others

0:34.5

that I like to watch as well. And they just kind of share snippets of their life. And I just totally enjoy that kind of content on YouTube. And I've thought many a time. And in the past, I've even had a series of vlog episodes myself when I was young before my travel years started. And actually in the beginning of my travel years too, actually. So I have done that kind of thing before. But then I started to realize my entire life felt like work when I would get the camera out. And since that's not my actual profession, I don't think I actually want to make it that way, but I do want to share more off the cuff and candidly with you. And in the most recent beauty of business coaching call I had the other week, was it this?

1:11.4

No, that's the week before.

1:13.0

I asked the girls how much they were working on their ducks, as I call it, and their

1:17.0

acquisition channels.

1:18.2

Their ducks of the projects or the offerings that they're working on at the moment.

1:21.6

And their acquisition channels, which are different ways that they could get people to find

1:25.8

out about their businesses and that they

1:27.5

exist. So I was asking them this question asking how many minutes a week that they worked on the

1:32.7

acquisition channel specifically. And I was getting the answers coming back in. And then I put the

1:37.3

question to myself, how many minutes a week am I working on my acquisition channel? And for a company, historically speaking, at least,

1:46.1

we have been an organic outreach company. Now, for the beauty of business women, and Tony,

1:51.8

the majority of the people in the group have picked the affiliate and referral acquisition

1:58.5

channel, which makes me believe because about 85% of them

2:02.0

have chosen that. I have a feeling in the future, stage three types of businesses, which I shared

2:06.6

earlier this summer, all about what stage three business even means. If you want to go back to those

2:10.8

episodes and learn more about it, you can hear more there. But these women are going into the,

2:15.3

and Tony are going into these types of businesses and they're

...
