the chance to go deep into the Atlantic Ocean to view the world's most famous shipwreck, the Titanic.

But a submersible with five people on board has gone missing.

Rear Admiral John Margo of the US Coast Guard is leading the search and rescue mission.

The location of the search is approximately 900 miles east of Cape Cod in a water depth of roughly 13,000 feet.

It is a remote area and it is a challenge to conduct a search in that remote area.

But we are deploying all available assets to make sure that we can locate the craft and rescue the people on board.

David Pogue is a CBS news correspondent who traveled on the same submersible last year.

It's a tube, five inch thick carbon fiber about the size of a minivan with these titanium half dome end caps on each end.

There's no seating inside.
