I really do hope everybody is having a good holiday season so far.

Okay, so before we begin, let's talk about self-esteem.

Self-esteem is a hard one for me to talk about because one of my triggers, one of the biggest things with me is not being

believed. If, especially you ask me a question or you want something from me and you say as much,

and then I try and give it to you and then you disbelieve me, I get triggered by it.

And that's not on you.

That's on me.

And I'm learning how to work through it as I have been for a while.

However, what I wanted to talk about today is my relationship with self-esteem. And why again, I began with

that preference is if there's one thing that people come to me for advice on, or if there's one

thing that people want to mimic me about or think that I have a secret,

it's confidence.

And a lot of people think that that confidence has historically come from self-esteem,

from a well of self-esteem.

And it hasn't, historically speaking.

In my personal history, I have had horrible, horrible, horrible, horrible low self-esteem.

In my personal history, not to get too deep before we have a good time tonight at the live show,

I'm just going to tell you I'm going to get into a little bit of my personal stuff.

And if you don't know about it, I've got some demons.

As I have tried to tell women who have been interested in dating me, the line I've been using casually for about 15 years now is,

do you think that I developed this personality on accident or because I had to?

And if that got a smile, then I knew that she was probably at least a little bit fun. So, historically speaking, I didn't have a lot of self-esteem.
