Oh man, if you're just joining us, this is a live show.

We're on my server right now.

We're trying to be in a good mood, and I'm just going to tell you even more so than usual

that this is going to be a very free-willing show.

It's been a real interesting week for me personally, even though I haven't done anything.

I've just, I got to say from the bottom of my heart, I'm so grateful for you all.

But this is where I usually make the pitch like, if you come on out, and if you came on

out to a live show and earlier and what have you, you would have had such an amazing time.

This is definitely not that pitch. I'm just being honest with you. I'm basically just talking about

my feelings and thoughts in real time at this point with this particular week, with the effect that it's had on me.

And I imagine lots of yours.

Well, just to harken back to just kind of like where I am right now, and I promise, we're

going to try our best to have a good show.

I wasn't okay personally with 9-11 when it happened. I wasn't okay

again. I didn't feel like I was going to be okay again until John Stewart cried. John Stewart

crying for some reason just unlocked something in me. I was a fan, but I wasn't the biggest fan. Uh, but something

about him crying on the daily show. I mean, I cried too, obviously, but I had cried many

times before then. This isn't like a catholic cry. But just, it just made me think like,

all of these feelings were okay. It just, I don't, I didn't have the same emotional or intellectual framework when it came to my emotions.

This is before I'd really been to therapy, I've been to therapy a little bit as a kid, but I didn't take it seriously.

It was mandated and on and on it goes.

And there's something about that act and that realness made it okay for me.
