Here's why I want to have just like 1% of El Ron Hubbard's, like, shameless power.

I've just heard this fucking story for the first time.

I've heard a lot of crazy stories about O'Ran Hubbard,

but this one's new to me.

And as somebody who's very shy and who wants desperately not to be,

who's trying very hard to break out of that shell and just be more of an entertainer, of

an extrovert of all the rest.

Here's a story.

Elron Hubbard said that he had a way to make people's minds perfect.

It's called Dionetics. And he can make your mind perfect.

Your mind has flaws. He can make it perfect. This is actually not that weird for psychology in a way

at the time, but it's also incredibly strange, I think. And so the way that he proves that he could do this is he brings up a young woman that he says

has gone through the mind purification process onto a stage in front of skeptics.

And he says that this person, this young woman, can remember everything, everything

that's ever happened to it. This young woman can

remember every single thing that's ever happened to it. And so people start asking her questions,

like, what did you have for breakfast on October 13th in the year, you know, 20 years ago, etc.

Now, she can't answer questions like that, and she says, I don't know, I can't answer it,

I don't know. And that's already really embarrassing, right? But at one point, they have

L. Ron Hubbard turn around, and they ask her what color tie he was wearing, what color shirt he was wearing, and she couldn't fucking answer.

And I bring this up because he just kept going. That was live and in front of people and they all saw it.

And there were reporters there.
