Welcome back to Tinker Class!

Our hands-on Crash Course in Science Fun 101 for the Science Seekers and Inventoritos of tomorrow.

It's day three of week two, so if you're just joining us for the first time,

hit pause and go back and listen to the first two episodes of this week.

Don't worry, we'll still be here when you get back.

This week, we're using inspiration from our Wow in the World episode Rat Race.

On day one, we had you listen to this episode while jotting down any thoughts or ideas and

questions that came to mind.

Yesterday, we had you explore materials that could work together to create a car for your stuffed

animal. And now, for day three, we're ready to begin creating and testing.

Our next two steps in the tinkering process.

Using your design plan sketch from yesterday, it's time to bring your idea to life.

As you build your car according to your plan, make sure that the wheels move easily

and that your car is big enough to fit your driver.

You'll also want to make sure that your car has cup holders and backup cans.

Once your car is built, you'll be ready to test.

For this, you'll want to set up a test track to run some trials to measure your car's speed.
