Hello again, everybody, and welcome in to another

edition of the Radio Free Hillsdale Hour. On this episode, we'll talk with Tim Doltz from Hillsdale's

physics department about some interesting findings from the International Space Station.

Christopher Caldwell joins us to discuss his new book, The Age of Entitlement. And Ken Calvert, professor of ancient

history here at Hillsdale, will tell us how portable wealth transform the Greek world. First,

joined by Dr. Timothy Dolch, assistant professor of physics at Hillsdale College. Dr. Dolch,

thanks for joining us. Thanks for having me, Scott. And some news to discuss from the International Space Station

and specifically from the X-ray telescope,

the X-ray telescope that is on board there.

And if I'm not mistaken, it's called Niser.

That stands for something.

Tell us about the telescope and then what we have recently found.

That's right.

So nicer is an acronym, and it is nicer than any other equivalent telescope.

But what it means is neutron star interior composition explorer.

And it's a piece of the story of studying these neutron stars.

And you and I have talked about

them on several occasions, and these really dense stars, they're about 10 kilometers in diameter

or so.

That's one of the interesting results of this paper.
