I remember giving this illustration back in the summer of 2022 as we were engaged in our

exit strategies.

I said as my wife and I moved into our house in 2017,

I don't know why, but I decided to start a garden.

I don't know anything about gardening. I don't know anything about

planting. Y'all don't judge me because I feel the judgment coming. I just saw

that my neighbors had flowers and I said my last name was flowers

so why not plant some flowers? Let me pick up a new hobby. So I begin to

enroll in YouTube University and watch all of these videos on gardening.

I saw the type of soil I need to get, the type of mulch I needed to get.

I started to research what type of flowers work best in the Houston, Texas area and I'm planting these flowers, have all this soil, all this dirt, and I'm intentional, I get like like weed killer I'm serious about this I want these

flowers to grow I get weed killer I'm watering them every day but they're not growing and so I

started to get frustrated so then I begin to look up for what type of sprinklers are best

to grow flowers. I install sprinklers. I'm removing the weeds, but nothing is growing.

You see, sometimes I think the church does a great job with preaching about

the blessings of God but not necessarily the timing of God. Because like I've been articulating all throughout this series, faith in God also requires

faith in His timing.

And so I'm wondering why these flowers aren't growing.
