0:26.8	The devotional is titled Facing Lions and the verses Psalm 34 verse 4.
0:33.8	I pray to the Lord and he answered me.
0:36.7	He freed me from all of my fears.
0:40.2	The story of Daniel is one of my favorites because he truly was rooted in God.
0:46.9	I also like his story because of what happened in Daniel 6.
0:51.3	At the beginning of the chapter we learn King Darius put Daniel in a position of leadership

0:58.9	The other leaders didn't like that and they plotted against Daniel.
1:03.0	They went to the king and suggested that he decree that everyone pray to him alone
1:07.8	or risk being thrown into a den of hungry lions.
1:12.0	The men knew Daniel would never pray to King Darius because he was a devoted follower
1:18.3	of the God of Israel.
1:20.4	They knew it so well that they asked the king to put his decree in writing so it could
