We like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is Twitter and specifically.

Specifically, do we need an audit?

Do we need a study, a complete study of the censorship that Twitter has engaged in over

the years?

That's what we're going to talk about today.

Now, Elon Musk, who's just bought Twitter, is vowing to reform Twitter.

He tweeted, quote, free speech is the bedrock of a functioning democracy, and Twitter is

the digital town square where matters vital to the future of humanity are debated.

Okay, so that's what he said.

I was a statement that he made shortly after his $44 billion bid to buy Twitter was accepted.

Okay, so a lot of conservatives are very, very happy about this purchase.

They hope Musk succeeds, and Twitter certainly needs freer speech, free speech, freer

speech.

But as much as Twitter needs freer speech, it also needs to tell the world precisely what

it has been doing for the last two years.

They should conduct a full and comprehensive audit of all the instances, all of them,

in which it has suspended users, banned users, reduced the visibility of tweets, and in

other ways censored or suppressed information on Twitter for political reasons.

This is, they've been very, very non-transparent about this.

I mean, how many times have you heard that this or that person you might follow on Twitter

has been suspended for a day, or they've been warned, or they've been outright thrown
