Hello, and welcome to another edition of the Byron York Show, the no-chit chat podcast.

We'd like to get right into it, and what we're going to get into today is kind of a simple

proposition, which is Democrats can't fix their problems by November.

Obviously midterm elections are coming up, the Democratic Party is troubled, so the

question is, is there something they could do to fix their problems by November?

Now, you may have noticed, be hard not to notice if you follow the news, that Democrats

on Capitol Hill have been trying their best to keep the January 6th investigation in

the news.

If they could make this spring and then summer and then the fall about Donald Trump, that

would be a huge win for them, given the calamitous state of Democratic midterm prospects

at the moment.

But even though the January 6th Committee is going to get a lot of news coverage, when

it finally unveils its report and they're planning some sort of big multimedia show, they

want to get a lot of attention.

Even though they're going to get a lot of attention, the fact is, the Democratic Party cannot

divert voters' attention from losing issues like inflation, crime, and the border crisis.

I mean, when you go to the grocery store and when you fill up your car and it costs you

a whole lot more to do it, and perhaps you don't do other things because you've gone

to the grocery store or filled up your car, you're not going to be thinking about the January

6th Committee report.

So that's the situation the Democratic Party faces now, and warnings are everywhere.

So I want to talk about one new one.
