Hey, this is the moment. I'm Brian Koppelman.

I'm going to keep this introduction short because I want to be able to spend as much time with our guest as possible.

The guest is Tim Hurley. I first heard of him through a sketch on S&L that starred Farley, Sandler, and Emilio Esteves.

And it's one of my favorite sketches of all time.

It's called The Hurley Boy.

If you don't know it, just put this down and

go to YouTube and watch the Hurley boy or Hulu I guess for SNL sketches. It's hilarious and Hurley he will swear I think when he gets here that it had nothing to do with him

that those guys even though he was SNL's head writer he says that that sketch is not based on him has nothing to do with him

I don't think that's true and I think he tried to convince someone to give their

grandmother a bath like the character does.

His, Hurley's rise in Hollywood to become

one of the, you know, most successful

and well-known comedy writers is not a typical one. He'll walk us through it but he was a

lawyer. I don't think he contemplated a career doing this or thought it was

realistic and yet he's become someone who's written movies that have made all of us laugh for a long time.
