Welcome to the low post podcast that a Monday evening where just when you think it's

quiet, you wake up to go to the bathroom at 4.30 in the morning and you see a tweet

from Adrian Volgnerowski saying at 2.30 a.m. 2.38 to be exact, the Celtics have talked

to the nets are engaged with the nets on a Kevin Durant trade.

One week ago on this very podcast, I was talking with Dave McMahon about all things

Lakers, which is obviously KD tangential because of Ky Reurving and all that.

And I said in the wake of the Deandre Aiton Offersheet match, which either took the sons

out of the Durant game or to the outskirts of the Durant game, that a couple of teams,

this is one week ago, 11 minutes and 30 seconds into the low post podcast on July 18th,

that a couple of mystery teams that had been not central to the Durant talk so far had

been trying to see if in the wake of the Aiton thing they could get in the side door.

I didn't name the teams because frankly I didn't have it quite nailed down to the point

that I could report it.

But one of the teams that I was implying was Boston.

And that news exploded today.

There were further reports of the athletic that Boston has made and firm offer of Jalen

Brown, Derek White and a first round pick for Kevin Durant.
