| 1:12.8 | love for you to do is to kind of catch us up on the background of this particular case, which |
| 1:17.6 | deals with the issue of conversion therapy, same-sex orientation, the sexual orientation change |
| 1:24.0 | effort laws that we see in states and many municipalities. And so that all came to |
| 1:29.5 | ahead in a Supreme Court case. And I want you to give us a little background on this case, |
| 1:34.8 | Charles v. Salazar. What happened in Charles v. Salazar is Ms. Childs is a Christian |
| 1:41.8 | in the state of Colorado with a license to be a clinical therapist. |
| 1:49.5 | The state of Colorado, like a number of states, had enacted a law which stated that if someone |
| 1:57.5 | under the age of 18 came to see their therapist, and let's say a young man comes to see the therapist and says, I'm sexually attracted to other men. |
| 2:09.8 | I don't like this feeling. Will you help me no longer be sexually attracted to another man or help me to even break, you know, get over |
