0:12.7

I'm Dale Johnson, and you're listening to Truth and Love, a podcast of the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors,

0:18.4

where we seek to provide biblical solutions to the problems that

0:21.8

people face. This week on the podcast, I am delighted to have with me, Dr. Brad Brandt. He's the pastor

0:28.9

of Wheelersburg Baptist Church, and he's been there for 34 years as a pastor. What a faithful

0:34.7

testimony that is. He's married to his wife, Sherry. They have two

0:38.3

children and most importantly, possibly, three grandchildren. And we're not going to let him talk

0:44.0

1:26.7

to counsel from the scripture.

1:29.0

1:33.9

Wednesday evening series, and I came to chapter 42, verse 7, where the Lord says concerning

1:40.6

to Eliphaz that you have not spoken of me what is right. And I remember thinking about

1:46.3

that. God said that Elifaz and his two friends had not spoken and was right, and he was very

1:52.7

angry with them. So I thought, I do a lot of speaking to people. I wonder what God would have to say

1:58.1

about the counsel I give. So I backed up into the book and started

2:01.0

looking for evidences of things that were not pleasing to God. What were those things he was not
