The Nashville statement on this edition of Truth and Love.

I'm Heath Lambert and you're listening to Truth and Love, a podcast of the Association

0:16.2

of Certified Biblical Counselors, where we seek to provide biblical solutions for the problems that people

0:21.8

face. For over two years, we have always released the Truth and Love podcast on Monday morning.

0:30.8

And for the first time since we started this podcast, we held off the release of our podcast 24

1:36.2

transgender, marriage, and all those kinds of things. I believe that is the defining issue

1:41.7

for faithful Christians to weigh in on in this day and in this age.

1:46.3

And I am thankful that the Nashville statement weighs in on those issues in a way that I think

1:52.1

is reflective of a biblical morality. I was honored to be on the draft committee for this statement

1:59.7

and am thrilled about all of the people from a

2:03.8

diverse range of evangelicalism who have signed on as initial signatories. Just as an example of

2:10.7

who some of these initial signatories are for the document, R. C. Sprole, John Piper, James
