0:13.8	how you doing? I'm doing well. How you doing, John? Doing great. Take us back to the beginning.
0:20.0	Where'd you grow up? I grew up in Odessa, Texas. And you know, you know, everything out here
0:26.6	in Odessa known for football and oil. And so I wanted to do both of those things. Football and oil.
0:32.5	Were you a high school football player? Yes, I was a high school football player. Yes, I was.
0:37.1	How'd that go? Well, it didn't go very well because that's when my whole life shifted. But that was my
0:43.4	first time high school football and football in West Texas gave me my first dream. What was your first
0:49.8	dream? My first dream was to become a football player. And growing up in West Texas at that early age,
0:57.7	only had one person to ask about that dream. It was my mom. And she bought me my first football.
1:04.2	That's awesome. So she ignited that dream in me. I love that. And then did you play in college?
1:10.0	Yes, I did play in college. Talk about that. Well, I played at a small university in Alpine,
1:16.5	Texas called Soul Rock State University. And I played there two years. And then I realized I
1:22.1	wasn't good enough to go to the NFL. So I decided it was time to hang up the cleats.
1:27.2	Take this back though, you in high school, you said that thing shifted. How did things shift for you
1:30.7	in high school? Well, I was finally getting the opportunity to live this dream to become a big town
1:35.5	football star. And that career was over as quick as it started because I was accused of a crime. My
1:41.0	senior year of high school instead of playing at that Friday night lights, I was in jail.
1:48.2	Talk about that experience in jail. Talk about what happened. How were you accused?
1:51.9	Okay. What brought you to jail? Yeah, give me your story. Okay. Well, well, this girl
1:56.6	accused me of a sexual assault. And I always said I didn't do it. So it was my word against her
2:01.5	word. And the law agreed with her. And so I found myself incarcerated for six months. Then I got
2:09.7	out and I was stuck on a 10 years probation for that crime. And you know, it kind of shaped my
