and he writes, I remember back when the iPhone was announced. I recall reading everywhere

that you could not use the iPhone as a Bluetooth modem.

I listened to your podcast while at work. Maybe I missed it, but I don't recall you ever mentioning

this. This is almost like the deciding factor for me, because most phones allow this and I

can't see myself living without that. Do you happen to know anything, rumors, if you will, about it working as a

Bluetooth modem? Thanks, Tim. Tim, thanks for sending that email in. And I did some digging on this,

and everyone seems to be referencing back to the Mac World article from January 15th, in which they said that, no, it can't be used as a Bluetooth modem

based on the conversations they had with people at Apple back at the conference when the iPhone

wasn't originally announced. There are no other rumors or anything to show contrary to what

Mac World got from Apple at that point in time. So no one from

Apple has said anything to take away the belief that this will not be, that's not be used as a

Bluetooth modem. Sorry, Tim, I know that's not the answer you're looking for, but right now,
