For our entire series, we've followed Tiger Woods' life from being a child prodigy early

on under the tutelage of his father, Earl, to Stanford, to storming onto the scene at the

PGA tour, certainly a turbulent time away from the golf course for a number of years' health

issues and then of course his reemergence as a champion on the tour and who better to talk about

Tiger Woods and his life both on and off the course than the co-author of the book Tiger Woods

as well as an author of a number of books about sports and science and really life, humans,

business, Jeff Benedict, welcome to the show. How are you?

All right, so you've written a ton about sports, you've written books about sports, and certainly

you've, I assume, for a period of your life dedicated all of your time to all things Tiger Woods.

Was there anything surprising to you? Was there anything even going in knowing about Tiger Woods

that was almost a through line of who Tiger Woods at least appears to be? First of all, it was,

it was three full years of time spent, and you know, to be honest, it was full of surprises.
