So we just went to Dicey Dyes and we recorded for the Softie podcast, which if you guys haven't already listened, that's Gabby's podcast with Meg. And it was fun. Yeah. We did a good time. Yes. And this is where they record. So now I'm in their studio. Yeah. Love it.

And then when I'm done and then I'm not going to do it for like six more years.

You know what I mean?

Yeah. It's sometimes you got to like turn it off. And so for me,

it's reading for you. It's probably tie-dying. Yeah. It's kind of cool to lock into like my in-person gig because I have something to do like with my hands where I can like put my phone down and be like, okay, I'm doing this. And I get an end result with it too. So it can be kind of rewarding at the end of the process. I love that. Yeah. I didn't realize you were from North Carolina. Yeah.

Your mom still lives there. I know you were military. Your husband was military. Is he still in the military? No. No. You end up in Kentucky because of the military? So we were both stationed at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and my husband's originally from here. Okay. So him and his wife, they split up when they were stationed in Japan. And she moved back here with the two kids. And then he got stationed in Fort Bragg after Japan. Okay. And his plan was always after he got out of the military that he was going to move back to Northern Kentucky, Cincinnati. And I followed him up here. I mean, we got married when we were down there. So you met at Fort Bragg and then get married and then moved to Kentucky when you guys are both out? Yeah. So we got married. We were married for a year while we were still in the military getting out of the military. I had my daughter, like almost two years into our marriage. and then we moved here when my daughter was like a month old. Why did you want to get out of the military. Well, because he wanted to get out. So he was kind of like, I need to get back to my kids. He had already spent so much time away from his kids being active duty and being stationed apart from their mom. And he was, like, missing out on some of their years. Like my stepdaughter was

four at the time and six at the time. And like it those are the years that you need to be present,

you know? And he just felt he was in a depressed place. Like he wasn't, I don't think that he could

have kept going much longer if he was stationed somewhere far away from his kids where he's
