Most people met Kail when she was 16 and pregnant on a TV show in front of millions.

I met her later.

And somewhere in the middle of all the chaos, she became one of my closest friends.

But here's what I realized,

sitting across from her for this conversation. The world has been watching Kale for half her life, and it never got the beginning. The cameras showed up at 16. Everything that built her,

every apartment, every promise, every person who was supposed
