This is Robbie Martin. Welcome, everybody. It's good to talk to you again, Abby. Great to talk to you. Can't believe it's been a month since we last spoke.

Oh, we spoke before that, but really? Has it really been that one since we actually spoke.

I mean, for media groups, yeah. But, yeah, a lot of the same horrific things going on in the world, some new things, some old things that have sort of been resurrected.

The AI stuff just continues to barrel forward an insanely, arguably dangerous speed, where just no one seems to have the proper rhetoric or surrounding it, you know?

It's like, it's like by the time, like a year from now, this idea that like artists were being put out of work will be like, seem like the lowest concern.

You know, it's going to just get so much crazy.

So, yeah, it's a concern.

But what's become really clear to me at this point is that the corporate sphere, the elites, whatever you want to call, like the power factions here in the U.S.

have just obviously figured out at this point that corporate media, mainstream media,

is only taken seriously by a certain part of the population now.

And I think, I mean, it's clearer than ever that that means that the alternative media space,

the quote-unquote anti-establishment alternative to that is being co-opted and basically

consolidated at like an accelerated rate.

You know, it's quite shocking, actually, like a couple of years from now, we'll look back on it and be like, damn, look at,

look how fast they managed to basically just consolidate this sort of anti-establishment

spirit and just completely co-opted.

It's like, it's kind of, I've never really, I mean, you know, we've been talking about

this since the Trump era, but to me, it's just kind of in its final stages now, you know, with Elon Musk buying X or Twitter, all that stuff just seems to be all kind of coming to a head. And, yeah, it's all, it's all pretty disturbing, you know, because, uh because I don't think people are smart enough to be like, this is, this media is trying to manipulate me too.

It's like people do very much get drawn to that idea that this is the counter to the mainstream media.

Therefore, it is that the truth or it is the narrative that I want to follow.
