We'll start with a few celebrity birthdays. Jason Derulo is 34 Maggie Grace's 40. Nicole Richie is 42.

Not 40 also. She's 42 years old. Liam Gallagher, Alfonso Ribeiro, Luke Wilson,

Faith Hill, Dave Cullier, Bill Murray, and Stephen King. That's a long list. I'll celebrate

birthdays, happy birthdays. And on the state history, two anniversaries to mention today's 25

years ago today, Will and Grace premiered on NBC. And 30 years ago today, September 21st,

in 1993, Nirvana released their final album in utero. It turns 30 today.

Let's go. You always start with the top story. The big one out of Washington yesterday was the

testimony of attorney general Merritt Garland. He was grilled by house Republicans over the Justice

Department's handling of the Hunter Biden and former president Trump cases. It basically accused

him of favoring the president's son. They said he's protecting Biden and attacking Trump.

I was honestly a pretty heated hearing. Garland said that he wanted to make it clear that he

did not interfere with the Hunter Biden investigation in any way. In response to their accusations,

he said quote, our job is not to take orders from the president, from Congress, or from anyone

else about who or what to criminally investigate. The Justice Department works for the American people.

He also said our job is to uphold the rule of law. Our job is not to do it is politically correct.

At one point, the hearing was interrupted by a protester telling Merritt Garland he needs to

repent before God. But the whole thing, the whole hearing lasted about five hours.

All right. Okay. Getting into sports here. We got an update yesterday on something that happened

over the weekend. In case you missed the story, a 53 year old man named Dale Mooney died inside

Gillette Stadium on Sunday during the Patriots dolphins game. At first, that was the headline that
