Choosing where to sit on an airplane. That used to be free.

Yes. Unless you were upgrading to like business or first class.

But if you want to make sure you don't get stuck with a middle seat, it will now cost you.

Those are the only seats you don't have to pay for are the middle seats.

Oh really? Yeah. I just booked a flight a few days ago and yeah, I realized all the free seats were just straight down the middle.

If you wanted a window or an aisle, you paid more. If you wanted like an X-row, you paid even more.

Sure. If you wanted to be further up the plane, you paid even more.

Oh, I didn't know that. That's weird. It was stupid.

So if you're like row 35, you might not pay as much as say row 22.

On this airline. Yeah. I feel like the airlines are running out of extra things to charge people for.

Because I think they've done it as much of it as they can.

Yeah, it's, they'll be your clothing fee and then, you know, whatever else they come up with next.
