Storms have brought an end to a late summer heat wave and much of Michigan's lower

opponents, led during which temperatures reached the mid 90s for a second straight day

yesterday. Lambertville in Monroe was the state's hotspot at 95 degrees. It reached 93 in

Monroe, three rivers Troy and Ipsilani yesterday Detroit topped out at about 92 severe thunderstorms

pushed through the area last night, though. That brought the temperature down into the 70s,
