Call this man, Leonard Fournett. Cross the table from me, Leonard's been hanging out yesterday today and tomorrow as well, pending somebody saying get on our jet plane and come to mandatory mini-camp. Until then, guys, we have a really, really fun hour. We have a couple of guests. We're going to play throwback Thursday, I believe, at the end of the hour, from Lenny's time in Jacksonville. But until then, we have a bit of an exclusive here,

These three players, Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, Marcus Marietta, they are being featured in a brand new series called quarterback.

It's the first collaboration between Netflix and the NFL, and it takes you inside the huddle

and inside their homes and their lives through the entire 2022 season, which for all three,

these guys look very different.

The eight episode series premieres on Netflix, July 12th.

Guys, your immediate thoughts.

One, I want to know what book was Kirk Cousins reading in the beginning about the life of a quarterback getting hit.

But I'm fired up to watch this.

I played 13 seasons in the NFL, and I have no idea what the life is like for a quarterback behind the scenes.

These guys have to put in so much work than the next player because they have to understand the entire offense with the defense. It's just such a different lifestyle to be a successful quarterback in the NFL. So I can't wait to be able to turn this on and watch all eight episodes. I'm so excited. I know a little bit about the work that went into this. A couple of things. I thought some of the internet reaction was interesting. The eyebrows were raised at Marcus Mariotta. It's such an interesting season. It didn't really work out. Why include him? That's why you include him. It's not about picking the best quarterbacks. It's about picking the best stories. Marcus Mariotta is this veteran who's trying to find a new home and hang on. And if you remember how Mario's season ended with the Falcons, it was very unusual. It would be fascinating. And, of course, I am so excited for the Kirk Cousins thing and not for my usual thing where I joke about dad jokes and things like that. Kirk Cousins, his entire reputation online is really truncated into, you're a pretty good quarterback who is kind of a dork. Ha, ha, ha.

He is one of the most intelligent players in the league. He is funny. He is creative. He is endlessly dedicated to his family. And I think that stuff is going to be some of the best stuff in this thing. I hope that we can now stop all the jokes and memes a little bit about Kirk Cousins and see like what an interesting guy he is because you know I'm a fan what you think
