Summary

Part two of the GMFB podcast begins with hosts Sherree Burruss, Kyle Brandt, Peter Schrager and Jason McCourty examining if it’s unfair to criticize the Philadelphia Eagles after their 4-0 start to the season. Then they answer two Throwdown Thursday questions - Will the Eagles “brotherly shove” or Aaron Donald win the battle this weekend? Do the Jaguars staying in London all week or Bills coming off a statement win have a bigger advantage this week? Andrew Whitworth joins the show and weighs in on the Bears struggles offensively, he shares what we can expect from Sam Howell, he reacts to the moment with Jared Goff last week, and then he explains why the “Brotherly Shove” has worked out so well for the Eagles.

No lies detected, right? We told us it's pretty easy. It's pretty fun, mostly, right? Yeah. Mostly. You waited through an hour. I know. You're not tired of us, so that's a good time. No, I haven't left yet. I am getting a little tired, so I might need to change my water for coffee, but we'll work on that.

0:56.9

All right, let's get to an NFL insider, Ian Rappaport never tired.

1:30.2

He is working all the time. Ian, we got a big matchup Sunday night between the Cowboys and Niners. You got to start off with coffee. What injuries are we watching with this one? Okay, so coffee number one for sure. This is coffee number two, but sure. All right, let's get to some injuries for the big-time game on Sunday night. 49ers, Cowboys, really one of the great rivalries of my youth, and I'm sure Sunday night is going to be awesome as well. We'll get to Micah Parsons. They do everything linebacker for the Cowboys. Already balling, four sacks, eight hurries, but now comes up with a little bit of a knee injury.

1:35.4

Played essentially the whole game last week, did come out for five plays to get his knee examined.

1:37.1

You can see him right there in a little bit of pain.

1:41.2

This is not believed to be a major injury, no real structural damage.

1:45.0

Just the kind of thing that he's got to get treatment on throughout the week and get to a point where he's close to 100% on Sunday.

1:47.5

So to that end, he was limited yesterday.

1:50.2

I would expect his participation to ramp up and no issues for Sunday.
