Michigan lawmakers do want to make a permanent pilot project that lets repeat drunken drivers

get a restricted drivers license by installing a breath alcohol ignition device on their

vehicle. Legislation to extend indefinitely a 2010 law did win unanimous approval yesterday

in the house. It now moves to the Senate. The law requires the Secretary of State to issue

a limited license to people who've lost their license if they take part in a sobriety
