Hello, their Everyday Truth family, and that's the way I look at you as part of my family.

I know that some of you are just joining and just began listening.

I've talked to a couple that just began listening, and so thank you for tuning in, and I hope

that this is a blessing to you.

We are in Genesis 33 today, and I loved yesterday's study.

I just loved seeing the interaction between Esau and Jacob and realizing that no matter what the hurt is,

no matter what the level of betrayal has been,

that there is hope for restoration. And maybe I'm talking to a married couple today,

or maybe I'm talking to somebody that used to have that best friend, and you're feeling as if

things will never, ever be patched up.

Listen, if God can bring Esau and Jacob back together to get, again, in humility,

then he can work in your situation too.

And you can't control other people, but you can respond to the grace of God in your own life.

And both of these men separately gave the overture that, God, you've been good to me,

you've given me enough, I'm not going to expect anything of the other.

And in that spirit of non-expectation, God gave them a restored relationship.

And it's wonderful. We're in verse number 12 of that same chapter, chapter 33, and he said, let us take our journey and let us go, and I will go
