Authorities in Florida say they were able to stop a planned high school shooting

after arresting three teenagers. A student at Creekside High School in St. John's alerted authorities

of the plot and text messages with the student's intentions. The suspects had one quote unquote

hit list of students they wanted to physically harm and another, quote unquote, lethal hit list of students they wanted to kill.

The arrest report says the group of three teens formed due to being bullied by other students and that they were trying to recruit classmates to join them.

It's not clear whether they actually had access to guns,

but there are text messages saying they plan to use an AK-47.

They're currently facing charges of written threats to kill or do bodily harm

and unlawful use of a two-way communications device.

No matter what way you look at this, it's absolutely heartbreaking. The death toll from the

Hamas attacks against Israelis on Saturday and the Israeli siege on the Gaza Strip has now

claimed at least 3,000 lives. And that number is likely much, much higher than what's being reported.

And we won't know the full scope of the Israeli counterattack until the rubble is cleared from

neighborhoods in Gaza and bodies are recovered and counted. Ever since the surprise attack from

Hamas this weekend, Israel has been bombarding Palestinians in Gaza

with missiles, leveling entire city blocks and whole neighborhoods.
