| 0:00.0 | It's Thursday, October 10, 2024. |
| 0:07.5 | I'm Albert Moller and this is the briefing, a daily analysis of news and events from a Christian worldview. |
| 0:13.8 | Well, one of the things that makes our time different than virtually any age before |
| 0:18.3 | is that we now see these giant storms coming. |
| 0:21.0 | We actually see them forming. We have satellite images. We have all kinds of |
| 0:25.1 | radar images and we have the maps and the computer modeling that tells us not |
| 0:30.4 | only what is happening but what is likely to happen and that's why for days we have |
| 0:34.7 | been watching after Hurricane Helene and its devastation we've been watching Hurricane |
| 0:39.3 | Milton as it was forming out in the very warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico and now headed directly for the Gulf Coast to Florida. |

| 1:16.0 | storm would likely hit the Tampa Bay area and it would likely hit as a category 3 storm. |
| 1:21.7 | But as I'm recording right now, it is too early to know exactly how the |
| 1:26.2 | storm has progressed across its own path. And just exactly what has happened, but we do know, |
| 1:32.2 | this is a storm that was expected it was indeed |
| 1:35.3 | predicted to have catastrophic impacts and thus our hearts are with the people |
| 1:39.7 | They're in central Florida all the way from the Gulf Coast to the Atlantic coast. |
| 1:44.0 | One of the remarkable sentences about Hurricane Milton is that it was expected to hit the West |
| 1:49.3 | Coast of Florida as a category 3 hurricane and it was expected to exit the East Coast of Florida |
