Yesterday 19 families of the victims. And it always starts with the top story.

Yesterday, 19 families of the victims of the Yewaldi school shooting

settled a $2 million lawsuit with the city of Yewaldi, Texas.

That terrible tragedy took place back in May of 2022 and it was also

announced yesterday that they are now suing 92 officers with the Texas

Department of Public Safety and the school district as well as

individual employees.

If you remember the police response time was heavily criticized and scrutinized,

a parent of one of the victims said yesterday,

no amount of money is worth the lives of our children,

but there was an obvious systemic failure out there on May 24th.

The whole world saw that.

Okay, moving on to sports here.
