President Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a phone call yesterday,

during which reporting says that Biden conveyed that he expected a significant de-escalation

immediately on the path to a ceasefire.

However, it appears that Israeli forces are set to continue their military operation

for likely another day or two.

The Palestinian death toll in Gaza rose to 227 people, including 64 children, and in

the West Bank, at least 19 Palestinians have been killed.

The death toll in Israel stood at 12, including two children, and so far, Israeli forces have

destroyed more than 60 miles of Hamas's underground tunnels, struck 80 rocket launchers, and

killed at least 130 Hamas militants, according to a senior military officer.

At Tuesday night, the Office of New York Attorney General Letitia James confirmed that

its investigation into the Trump Organization is no longer purely civil in nature, and that

they are now actively investigating the Trump Organization in a criminal capacity.

The Attorney General's office told CNN that the Trump Organization had been informed

of the change in the investigation, and noted that they are working in some form of coordination

with the Office of Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr., which has been conducting

a criminal probe into the Trump Organization since 2018.

The significance here is that Trump is now at greater legal risk than he was before,

including potentially for jail time if he is found guilty.
