At this point, nobody knows.

Defense Secretary Pete Hexeth says the Pentagon needs more money from Congress to pay for the war in Iran to the tune of $200 billion.

It takes money to kill bad guys. So we're going back to

Congress and folks there to ensure that we're properly funded for what's been done, for what we may

have to do in the future. President Trump calls it a very small price to pay. ABC News Pentagon

reporter Louis Martinez says the $200 billion request might offer some an idea of how long this war could drag on.

So when you go out there making a request for this much money, it means one of two things.

You are planning for a very long campaign or you are going to expend so much of the inventory of your weapon stockpile

that you feel you need to replace it and go even further

so that you can ready your military for further conflict should that be necessary.

Meanwhile over Iran.

For the first time since the war in Iran began, a U.S. stealth fighter jet is believed to have been hit by enemy fire.
