It's the middle of the night in a small town on the Jersey shore.

Someone reports an abandoned car on a bridge.

A search gets underway for the missing driver, 19-year-old Sarah Stern.

Is it a missing person? Is it a suicide?

At this point, nobody knows.

Iran defiantly insisting that it is still building missiles three weeks into the war.

And word this morning that a U.S. fighter jet has been hit by Iranian forces.

ABC's James Longman has more from northern Iraq. For the first time in this war, an F-35 stealth

fighter jet was struck during a combat mission over Iran. The pilot made an emergency landing

at a U.S. base in the region and is now in a stable condition. But there are serious questions

over how a stealth plane nearly invisible to radar and costing

roughly $100 million could have been hit after three weeks of relentless bombardment of the

Iranian military.

Iran hitting energy facilities in the region overnight, including those in Kuwait,

Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates.

Japan and France saying they will not send any military escorts for oil rigs through the

street of Hormuz until the fighting ends. And the Pentagon is going to Congress to ask for

...
