Good morning, friends. Thanks for being here. A quick and efficient look at all the headlines

as you start your day and guess what? It starts right now.

And it always starts with the top story. This is going to be a major headline everywhere today.

Today is D Day, the 80th anniversary of D Day actually.

It was June 6th of 1944 when troops landed on the beaches

of Normandy. It was the start of the mission to stop the Nazis during World War II.

I know American Airlines flew more than 60 veterans from Dallas to France to take part in ceremonies marking this anniversary.

President Biden and French President Macron will both be over there to participate.

At the end of last year,

it was estimated that nearly 120,000 American

World War II veterans were still alive.

80th anniversary today.

It's a big day.

Couple sports headlines here tonight is game one of the NBA finals, the Dallas Mavericks

and the Boston Celtics. Boston are playing for their 18th NBA championship and

the Mabs are playing for their second. They won it back in 2011 for the first time.
