Yeah, exactly. Exactly. Well, we had to say goodbye to an old friend yesterday. Who? Internet Explorer. What? Oh, well, officially dead at the age of 26. It would have been 27 next month.

If you're too young to remember, it was the browser everyone used in the late 90s and early 2000s. It killed off net scape. Yes, which is what everyone was using before that.

Yeah, I remember having net scape. Oh, yeah, Microsoft made it, but it was also the first browser that came pre-installed on Max. It debuted in 1995. More than 90% of people on the computers on the computer.

On the computers were using it by 2003. So 90% of the people serving online were using Internet Explorer. And then.

So it became so easy to hack. Sure. Safari and Firefox came along in the mid 2000s. They sucked away a lot of those users. Then Chrome popped up in 2008.

And that's still what most people use now because it's faster. Microsoft announced that they were killing off Internet Explorer last year.

And officially ended support for it yesterday. So if you go on it this morning and try and use it, it will automatically redirect to their newer browser. Microsoft Edge, which they say is faster and more secure.

Well, that's the one you have to use every time you run into a problem. Yes.

You know, when you're like, oh, man, let me open this. You got to go to that one.

For weird old sites that only work in Explorer, there is a legacy mode in Edge that lets you keep accessing them.

And so there's really no need for Explorer anymore. And that famous Internet Explorer icon will go away soon.

They're planning a Windows update that will automatically remove it from all devices that still have it installed.

I haven't used Windows in so long or any kind of Safari that's all I use.

Right. Right. Yeah, I think we still have it on one computer.
