The Air India flight was bound for London, but crashed shortly after takeoff.

Our chief international correspondent James Longman has a very latest development,

including what Boeing is saying at this hour. Good morning, James.

Yeah, good morning, Robin. Indian police say there are likely no survivors in one of the worst

aviation disasters in Indian history. 242 passengers and crew were on board this Air India

flight when it crashed in a huge explosion earlier this morning.

You can see the plane slowly descending before briefly disappearing behind some buildings.

Moments later, a massive fireball erupts into the sky.

Smoke from the site is visible for miles around and right now firefighters and rescue teams are at the scene.
