A new study published this week's just that the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine

is less effective against the Delta variant than it was against the original virus.

The Delta variant now accounts for 83% of new cases in the US and is significantly more

contagious than the original virus.

The leverologist on the study said the message that we wanted to give was not that people

shouldn't get the J&J vaccine, but we hope that in the future it will be boosted with

either another dose of J&J or a boost with Pfizer or Moderna.

On Tuesday at a Senate hearing, Dr. Fauci and Senator Rand Paul got into it again.

The source of the issue is that Rand Paul accused Dr. Fauci of lying to Congress about

the role that the National Institute of Health played in funding research in Wuhan, China.

And honestly, we just have to insert a clip of what Fauci said to him because me

reading it simply won't do it justice.

Senator Paul, you do not know what you are talking about quite frankly, and I want to

say that officially, and if anybody is lying here, Senator, it is you.

Next week, the January 6th select committee is set to begin its work, and how Speaker Nancy

Pelosi is rejecting a few of House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy's Republican picks for

the committee.

Specifically, she is objecting to two out of five of McCarthy's picks, and they are

representative Jim Jordan of Ohio and Jim Banks of Indiana, which I will henceforth refer
