Summary

Ephesians 2:10-14 We have been saved for a purpose. While it is true that we have not been saved BY works, it is equally true that we have been saved UNTO good works. Simply put, God has specially designed good works for believers to accomplish, and He has supernaturally fashioned each of His new creatures (creations) to be able to accomplish those very works. In that sense, believers are His masterpiece new creations!

0:56.1	because they speak to the reality of our salvation and just so imperative that we understand
1:04.4	these verses. Not to understand these verses is to put oneself in jeopardy of judgment. And that's a, that's a huge
1:15.3	statement, but it's true. How many religions, how many false systems have stumbled at
1:24.7	Ephesians 2, 8, 9, and have added something to salvation. My good friend,
1:32.3	Kerry Schmidt, wrote that book years ago called Dunn. We give it out to all of our folks here
1:38.0	at Faith Baptist, and I know many other churches do that as well. Just a really great explanation about how there are really only two religions in the world.
1:49.4	There are religions that say something must be done or rather there's something you must do in order to, in order to be saved, in order to have a relationship with God, in order to have
2:03.6	forgiveness and a home in heaven, or whatever the result you're looking for, there's something you must do.
2:11.6	And then of course there is the gospel which says, in essence, essence yes there is something that must be done
2:20.3	but it's nothing you can do it's something that Jesus did on your behalf so therefore the work
2:27.4	of salvation has been done it is ours by faith to enter into its benefit by believing and receiving.
2:37.0	And that's the teaching here of Ephesians chapter 2 very clearly.
