Summary

Ephesians 2:15-22 Jesus died so that salvation could be a reality for everyone—Jews and Gentiles alike. The “middle wall of partition” has been torn down, and all who come to Jesus by faith have equal standing at His cross. Those that were afar off (Gentiles) and those that were nigh (Jews) can now join the family of God as one new man and be the one body of Jesus together!

What does it mean that God has made us a brand new building, a brand new body, a brand new bride for Jesus, whether we're Jews or Gentiles?

brought together through Christ. And that's the point. And I want to talk a bit more about

1:39.4

where we learned that Jesus is not only the provider of peace, but he is our peace. I like the verse

1:47.9

in Romans chapter 5, where it says, therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God

1:56.0

through our Lord Jesus Christ. I've pointed this out before, I think, and that is that when Jesus

2:04.1

provides peace, this is not just the absence of enmity, not just the absence of God's judgment

2:13.1

upon sin, but the presence of God's favor, the presence of relationship and acceptance and all the things that come along with peace.

2:23.3

In other words, Jesus doesn't provide a truce with God.

2:27.4

He provides peace with God.
