1:11.4	I'm Dave Hunter. It is time right now for a check of Rift News. Michigan is facing some snow.
1:20.5	Some dangerously cold temperatures and some hazardous driving conditions leading several school districts to cancel classes today.
1:28.7	The cold expected to continue through the week. And as Chuck mentioned, there is a windshield advisory and effect until 4pm in Monroe.
1:34.6	It's actually a windshield warning. They had some windshield close to 30 below overnight there.
1:38.4	So it's a little worse there than it is in other parts. It was eight degrees as a low in Detroit.
1:43.6	They say and warming centers are open in several areas. We are going to get some snow too.
1:48.8	Not as bad here as other parts. They say about one to three inches, starting about 6pm tonight,
1:53.6	continuing through about four or five o'clock tomorrow morning.
1:56.4	And then in parts of the UP, they could get up to 11 inches of fresh snow tonight through Friday night.
2:01.4	We might be the only morning show that has to visit one of these warming centers.
